The mail woman opened the door to the office and dropped off the large square envelope. Everyone in the office thanked her, as was the custom. My supervisor brought the envelope over to me and let me know that it was for me. I gleefully opened the stiff folds and slowly pulled out the treasure held within as technology bends backwards into history to create a new aesthetic for today.

Last night, the Food Network revealed its next star:  Sissy Biggers!  We thought we were wholly finished with Sissy Biggers and her annoying voice, the yipping Chihuahua personality, strange teeth, wispy hair and no-talent parading around our television as a pseudo-expert -- but, no -- the Food Network is bringing back our worst nightmare and giving her a cooking show that starts next week called "Kitchen Survival Guide."

The great Adam Lambert -- seen below exchanging glee with another man in a previous moment of ecstasy -- was the real winner of American Idol and AT&T have confessed their text thuggery in giving the win to Kris, Adam's fundamentalist Christian, competitor.

What is the value of a digital, virtual, collectible? Is something really rare and valuable if it can be digitally cloned with no difference whatsoever between the original and the clone?

Blu-ray DVDs are the new standard in High Definition television.  I have the Sony S550 Blu-ray player, and when I use an HDMI cable to hook it up to my Sony Bravia HDTV, the True Cinema, 1080p is breathtaking.  The images are "realer than real" because my eye cannot pick out that sort of "up-close" definition on its own.
