A Bob Dylan Christmas

Our beloved Bob Dylan is releasing his first Christmas album on October 13, 2009.  Bob is our rock, our touchstone, and the magical mind that took folk music from acoustic and into the wired sound of really rolling rock.

All of Bob’s USA royalties from “Christmas in the Heart” will be donated to Feeding America.

The fact that just last week Bob was found wandering in Long Branch, New Jersey and was thought to be a homeless person is not lost on us.  We love Bob in every condition and circumstance.

We can’t wait to hear Bob start wailing on those Christian classics with his muddled voice and precise musicianship.

“Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Must Be Santa” will never be the same.

  1. Gordon Davidescu says:

I will very likely get it just because I love Bob Dylan like that. :)

  2. Me too, Gordon! Some people think Bob is selling out by doing a Christmas album. I see it more as rounding out the wide range of his musicality.

  3. Kathakali Chatterjee says:

    Eagerly waiting for it….

  4. Me too, Katha! I can’t wait to hear that voice again.
