That is a great movie, Gordon. Our SciFi writers have warned us for decades that, one day, the machines will rise up against us to rule us. It’s only a matter of time, I suppose. The trick will be who programs the “brain” and the “emotion” into our future captors. Will there be a need for a “computer empathy pathway” or not?

Let us not forget the premise of the genius first Terminator film – that we created a computer defense system so clever that it realized that we all were a threat to it and so began the war. Not too far off from what reality could be not too long from now.
